Let’s take a look to the Weapon Crafting system of Blue Protocol and learn how to craft your own weapons!
You can use the power of Engrams to craft weapons at the Crafting Stations in large towns such as Asterleeds. To craft a weapon in Blue Protocol you will need recipes, materials, and luno. You can obtain recipes from Adventure Boards and quest rewards.
How to craft a weapon
1. Interact with a Crafting Station
2. The selection screen will be displayed, select “Weapon Craft”.
3. A list of recipes will be displayed. Increase your adventurer rank and obtain more recipes to increase the available weapons.
4. When you select the recipe for the weapon you want to make, the crafting details screen will be displayed with seven different sections:
- Stats of the crafted weapon. The lottery probability of special effects and the number of sockets will be displayed. In “Equipped Weapon Comparison”, you can compare the performance with your currently equipped weapon.
- Number of items required for crafting and the number you possess are displayed. Hover the ⓘ icon to obtain information on how to get the item.
- Add recipes to your wishlist.
- Great success rate upon crafting. You can use a ticket that increases the crafting success rate by clicking the “Select” button on the ticket. In the case of “great success”, the effect value of the special effect and the number of sockets will increase.
- Choose the number of crafting.
- Switch the storage destination of crafted weapons between “bag” and “warehouse”.
- Displays the Luno required for crafting.
5. Select “Craft” to finish crafting your weapon.
Add a recipe to your wishlist
You can add recipes to your wishlist by pressing the “Add to Wishlist” button at the bottom of the crafting screen.
You can check the registered wishlist from Command Menu > Quest > Wishlist.
By registering recipes in your wishlist, you can check the collection status of materials on the command menu or main screen.
In addition, a notification will be displayed on the main screen when the items required for the recipe are collected, such as when collecting or receiving quest rewards.
Add recipes you want to craft to your wishlist.
Weapon Special Effects & Sockets
Weapon crafting sometimes grants “special effects”. For example, if you have a “Goblin-type” special effect, the damage dealt to goblin-type enemies will increase.
Also, crafted weapons may have “sockets” that can be attached to abilities. Up to 4 sockets can be opened, and items called ability plugs can be installed in each of the sockets. Ability plugs have abilities such as “attack power up”, and you can further strengthen your weapons.
Even with the same weapon, the feeling of use changes depending on the special effects and abilities sockets obtained while crafting.
