What are Echoes? (Imagines)
Echoes are the spiritual remnants of mystical creatures with powerful attacks that you summon in battle to overcome the most dangerous foes. You can obtain Echoes during quests or craft them using materials you discover in the field.
That’s the official definition on Echoes. But what does that mean? Well, you can harness the power of the mystical creatures and summon it to aid you in combat. This work in three different ways.
Types of Echoes
As we said before, there are 3 types of Echoes: Battle Echoes, Enhancement Echoes and Mount Echoes.
Battle Echoes
Battle Echoes gives you skills that you can use in combat. Each Battle Echo will be granted one active skill that can be ofensive, defensive or for support. It will also give you pasive stat boosts.
To get a Battle Echoe you will have to craft it at the Imagine Reseach Institute. Defeat the Elite Monsters on the field to get an Idea of the monster, a key ingredient to craft it’s Echoe.
A Battle Imagine will also increase your battle score, in x10 its item lvl.
Enhancement Echoes
Enhancement Echoes are equiped in 5 different slots, each one with a distinctive shape. You can fit one Enhancement Echoe with the correct shape on each one. The Enhancement Echoes will grant you stats and skills, similar to a Battle Echoes.
To create the Enhancement Echoes you will need to get the recipe first, and that can be obtained by completing the Adventure Boards. You can craft the Enhancement Imagine at the Imagine Reseach Institute
A Enhancement Imagine will also increase your battle score, in x6 its item lvl.
Mount Echoes
Mount Echoes are Imagines that you can ride to travel faster through the world. There are no much details about how to get Mount Imagines yet. So far you can get a Mount Echoe by completing an Adventure Board, but probably you will be able to buy them from the shop.
